Dictionary Stand

Design:
This project was built as a Christmas present for my mother to accommodate two large dictionaries. That in mind, this stand needed to be very sturdy. To further challenge myself, I decided that it would be completely held together without the use of metal fasteners. Doweling this piece together proved to be effective and now many years later it is still strong and holding the heavy dictionaries.
