Piano Bench

Design:
A piano bench is a fairly simple piece of furniture. It requires simply that one can sit on it and that it may have a small compartment underneath to store music books in. However, it is possible to make the piece somewhat more complex by making its structure unusual.
Using walnut and maple woods the two tone look is both appealing and telling of the piece. The walnut represents the supporting members of the bench and the maple is used to construct the drawer.
