Vertical Farm

As a show piece for the future of vertical farming, this building is meant to be easily read from the exterior. The pop out windows display the function and hint at the systems necessary to make that function possible. The homeless housing part of this project is vital for staffing the farms and in turn the farms provide a new model for live-work homeless housing. Eventually, through education about the processes of vertical farming, residents will become experts and eventually have to ability to move elsewhere and start new vertical farms in other parts of the city and beyond.
